Henry and Gray recently had the privilege of working with a client who was looking to have new uniforms as part of their rebranding. We worked with the client to assess their needs and create a plan of action. We helped them research and explore their options, and we provided guidance on how to best address all concerns they had to finalise their decisions in terms of uniform design and functionality.
The Client
Tira Group (previously known as NDA Group) is the largest group of specialty steel fabrication companies in New Zealand and Australia, employing over 260 people. With the expansion into new industries and new ways of working, NDA rebranded to Tīra in 2021 to better represent their modern, innovative approach and the dynamic and diverse markets in which they operate in.
The Brief
New uniforms were part of their brand project that started in late2021. Tira means 'Steel' in Maori and the brief was to provide a smart-looking uniform that harmonised 'Tira' across multiple brands within the group. Additionally, each brand has different seasonal requirements for staff that needed to be accounted for.
The Solution
Henry & Gray incorporated a robust polo shirt in dark grey with matching cap as an everyday wear item. Additional pieces such as corporate shirt in both long and short sleeves for those team members needing a more formal look. To account for the cooler months, merino jumpers were added and staff were given a choice of soft shell, heavy weight down vests, or a lighter weight down jacket.
